I was christened “Ariana” at birth, labeled “Hanna” by family members, and generally known as “Ari” by friends and co-workers. I know, many names but still the same skin, the same person. I am a crazy character fraught with conspiracy theories, imaginative ideas, unique notions on living, nifty fashion tips, and many moments of endless laughter. I’m a writer who spends hours dreaming up scenarios, taken from personal experiences in life and a photographer, seeking to capture the sentiments of particular moments. Most of all, I’m a die-hard Christian who believes in relationship with God rather than religion. I am an artist who grew up in Houston, TX where I currently reside. My curious nature causes me to raise my eyebrows on topics ranging from rising fuel prices, countries at war, civil rights, political/social persecution, to current art exhibitions, scrumptious food, and interesting independent films. I am always asking the question, “why” and usually embark on adventures in search of the answer. “Life is what you make of it,” said my favorite high school teacher, but I believe that Life is what you allow God to make through you. I’m only issued one life, and I intend on making the best of things.
